conflicts & stress..

Woke up sharp at 6am, showered, shaved me head, put on me gear, warmed up the engine and speed-off like as if I'm chasing the darkness of the night.. wtf haha.. I was actually looking forward to get to that purple tree, but I just needed to make up sometime so I won't be late for my course which starts at 7.30am.

When I reached the vicinity of that purple tree, I turned on my emergency lights. Guys & Girls, remember, when you stop along the highway, please, please always remember to use the left signal when stopping or the emergency lights.

That would be this button, the pyramid of Giza, the Bermuda Triangle, the upside down cone thingy ;-) Since there was so many insanely fast cars, even in the morning at 6.30ish, I had to take the shot in the car, AGAIN. So this was what I got.

I had to stretch to the passenger's seat to get this shot. Just had to include the fog into this picture :-)

This is a more close up shot. I thought by then, the sun would be a bit higher and lit this area but since its quite hilly, I just couldn't wait. So I went on my way..

Just look at those clouds, slowly grouping together to form something in the sky. Any one a cloud-watcher?

Today's topic mostly covers "Conflicts" & "Stress". Think everyone has this everyday hehe.. Don't lie! haha.. Probably the most hatred bit being in the office is when you have a conflict with your own mate. My gawd, I've experienced that.. INSANELY WEIRD SILENT TREATMENT! haha.. Oh well, no loss for me ;-) *middle finger* to me mate, whoever you are tee hee hee.. apakan!?

Competing or Collaborating. Which is you? After answering the multiple choice questions, my answers pointed towards Collaboration.. seriously!? haha I'm quite competitive too but I still give and take, and also consider other people's feelings.. seriously I'm nice.. hehehe

My team was asked to list down "Unmanaged Conflicts". We had quite a list there, flower and peace symbol came separately. PEACE! hehe

In the afternoon we had a "Stress" session. How to manage. How to avoid. Symptoms of Stress. Bla bla bla hehe

We were then shown that 3D illusion picture, where if you look carefully, if the picture moves, you're under stress, and yes yours truly saw moving thingies haha.

Then the 2nd picture came out, more moving thingies.

The 3rd picture came out, oh gawd, the thingies we're everywhere haha.. I'm stressed!? haha no *sarcastic*

After the course, the sky was just breath-taking. My Nikon was low in battery, thought I charged it lastnite, apparently I didn't switch the charger on hahaha.

Seriously love the rays penetrating through the clouds in the afternoon. Absolutely flawless.

Hehehe guess where I stopped next? That's right, if the sky was this perfect, imagine the light at the purple tree. That got me excited haha. On my way back to Bandar along the highway, the purple tree would be on the right hand side of the road, as I passed it, the scenery was just too perfect not to make a U-turn and take some shots. This time I got to get down from the car but VERY VERY carefully.

Finally, my shots outside the car, the purple tree seriously just stood out.

The sun's rays were just too overwhelming..

This was as close as my camera could take me.. maybe next time physically closer to the tree :-)

to improve..

Lastnight, I went to Hali's open house. Food was excellent Ann, good job! Hali, better tie the knot.. fast! haha

After stuffing myself with homemade briyani and beef rendang, I saw Meow, Hali's one and only cat hehe.. and you know me and cats, unseparable. Just look at her big eyes hehe..

But this one was different. Jual mahal brabis! Tempted me even more to catch it..

But everytime I try, it slaps me with it's paw. After a few attempts, it actually scratched me hehe.. 4 scratches to be exact! haha..

It's all good but I'll be back for you!! ;-)

Today, the big boss sent us to go for a scheduled course, "Managing Work" haha.. Like we don't have our plate filled already. Not to say we don't appreciate what we have, but this is probably just another scheme to open our minds up to accept more task.. more "never-ending" task one might say!? hehe

Here's the proof *lol*

From Visions To Goals.. I don't know what's so hard to visualize your goals? The other participants had a hard time figuring out what their goals in life are. I mean, mostly what I got from there was, "..you're still new, give it time and you'll understand..". Makes me wonder though, yes you have years of experience, but you're still where you are in the same position for many, many years, why man why!? Too deep in your comfort zone? I mean, hey, I've had experiences in banking, food & beverage, law and now contracts & procurement. I get my dose of experiences here and there, but I don't wanna be labelled "very experienced", especially to one particular job description. Hell no, thats like sinful.. apakan haha.

What I'm trying to say is, would you wanna be very experienced in just one area, or would like to be experienced in so many areas?

"Typical experience of a person living with purpose". That was the list the other team had to list. While my team had to list "Typical experience of a person living with no purpose". Which one are you?

These are the lists thats almost "accurate" :-)

Tomorrow, the final day of the course. Let's see what I'll get out of it.

It was pouring when I left the Learning Centre, I had this itch on my hand thats telling me to take out me camera, suddenly after the corner, this is what I saw..

Self accident, Im not sure what happened here but luckily there was no other car involved, otherwise we'd surely be reading of it in tomorrow's papers.

This morning on my way up, as always, I love looking at the greens along the highway. Then somewhere along Tutong, this purple leaved tree caught my attention. Makes me wonder, when did this happen!? I pass by this road every working day! hehe..

This tree simply and clearly stoodout from the rest. I had to make a U-turn just to get this shot. Too bad it was raining so I had to take it from the car. I'll try tomorrow morning with the sunrise hehe. Someone please wake me up at 5.45am hehehe..

claim's the word

Lemme see if I can claim this blog hehe

my day off..

Today I'll try posting from the middle.. here goes hehe..

Dear diary hahaha.. wtf..

In the morning, drove me missus to her office, while waiting, this kinda flower found around the vicinity caught my attention..

Nice huh? Wonder what's it called hmm..

Then I got a call from my mom asking if I could bring Ningning to the vet for a followup. Ningning's been sick for the last few days. Vet told me that she's lucky she's brought early because the virus she caught was fatal. Lucky Ningning, get well soon :-)

Should I be myself?

I just remembered!!

Someone asked me, to be myself or to be normal, myself means vain + blabih + umm more blabih. And I answered, yourself, cos that's who you are!

Then the she said the boyfie doesn't like her being herself. I'm like what the..

To me, I think he's just "immuned" with her. Pretty normal these days, especially with technology. Meaning to say, its easy to contact "someone" else for "distractions".hehe. You do the math! :-P

Never shot a picture of my Nikon D80 huh.. Wait ah, lemme see if I have it somewhere.

There.. me new baby.. I just called her "My Nikon". Speaking of which, some people pronounce it like Naikon, some just plain Nekon. I think the latter should sound correct.

Oh Oh I hear thunders! haha No not cos i'm afraid my equipment might get fried.. I wanna get some shots out..

Lemme try.. hehehe..

blogging..

Reading blogs here and there.. its interesting to see what people write everyday, just wondering if they actually stumble upon these experiences in life or purposely have the need to find something to write in their blog at the end of the day hehe.. Guess it doesn't matter hehe.. I don't know..

Today my.. *listens*

Ok change topic for a bit, I hear fireworks *raises eyebrow* not the fact that its loud, annoying and mengajuting.. it's the fact that wheneve I set up me camera, there's none. And when I'm lazyin about, I hear it. Just like what I'm hearing now. Maybe that's why photographers normally wait for Independence day or HM's birthday hehe.. But it'll be awesome to capture different fireworks at different places. Well more like different sillouhettes (mind the spelling kekeke) of the horizon with the fireworks bursting, lighting up the sky.

Let me show you what I got so far. Mind you, I'm new at shooting fireworks. So if it's not up to standards then give me time to improve.

hehe still trying :-)

Ok back to me story..

My officemate, he's a nikon lover too, snapping on a D50. Today he tried out my D80. I just smiled away when he started snapping things in the office. Heard him saying "fantastic!" a few times too hehe. I'll show you one of his best shots.

nice huh?

Lets see, what else did I get today hehe..

Flower Foot.. or whatever you wanna call it haha..

Ok it's 6.43pm, wonder If I still have to go any open house? Feeling tired actually. Oh well.. Maybe I'll continue later hehehe..
